A clear tubing bend section wrapped in plastic

A Spanish museum contacted us to see if we could fix a work of art. The actual artwork is an elaborate set of collars that connect small-diameter tubing bent on a tight-radius circle. They sent us a sample of an acrylic tube.

Acrylic is famous for cracking, crazing, and splitting. We went to work. Our job was to rebuild the three sections of the circle according to the print, to seal it, and plumb it so as to accept colored water. We went to work and produced the circle.

And, finally the result.
